In this frame we see that the acid blend has been applied to the wall tile and
grout. This is used to clean and remove soap film residue,
surface rust, grease and other contaminants commonly found on surfaces to be
refinished. This blend of acids and cleaners
also etches the tile which
provides a suitable surface for the application of our coatings.
Since the acid blend cannot etch fiberglass surfaces the shower floor pan is
thoroughly sanded to prepare its' surface for the coating material.
